Interior Design Services

Our Full-Service design starts with your individualized design, selections and follows through to installation as an oversight service. We do not employ our own contractors, but will happily work with your contractors to oversee the project and implement our design from kitchen concepts to trade-only furniture purchasing and installs.

Our design consulting fees are billed using a Flat-fee model for most residential or commercial projects which include designing, procurement of goods, and installation. We operate on a minimum expenditure purchase agreement which states that in order to retain our Luxe Design Service, clients must agree to Design Tree Interiors’ minimum purchase of goods. This minimum is different for every client based on the scope of services. We’ll always start with an initial design consultation before beginning our process. Clients may pay for and book this service on our site. After reviewing your project at our initial consultation and discussing what needs to be implemented to make it a success, we will send you a proposal illustrating fee structure, project goals, timelines, and a contract. This takes about 5 business days.

Our Design process always includes 5 site visits. We begin with our first meeting, which we call our initial meeting, to discuss client goals. We discuss your needs, space and toss around ideas and your vision for your space. We’ll do a walk-through and measure as well. You’re more than welcome to share images with us or send them via email or another online service to establish a general style and we take it from there.

Our second meeting is the design concept meeting where we present the overall design and solutions. This usually gets scheduled about 3-4 weeks after our first meeting. After the design is approved, we can move forward and meet with the necessary tradespeople you’ve considered. This is an important milestone for us. Reviewing tradespeople to collect bids to understand the cost of installing the products you approved is next. Once tradespeople are hired, products need to be ordered and trade installs scheduled. The remaining site visits will include reviewing the remodel site and discussing any discrepancies or logistical issues that may arise throughout the remodel. Finally, there’s an install day if you purchase goods, treatments, and accessories through Design Tree Interiors. Additional site visits will be necessary during the remodel and this is part of our oversight process and fees that are separate from the design fees. We want to make sure this project will be a success and you hire us with confidence, so we’ll always be available to answer any questions before we begin.
